Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist assignment in Bristol, CT at an outpatient clinic. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, delegating and directing therapy services, and designing functional programs to support return to community activities. The clinician will educate patients, families, students, and coworkers, complete timely and accurate documentation, and participate in performance improvement and professional development activities. Shift structure is 5x8. Requires Connecticut licensure and outpatient PT experience; benefits include medical, 401k matching, and housing/travel assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Connecticut state license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred
- Ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, write functional treatment plans and measurable goals
- Demonstrated competency in safe patient handling and infection control practices
