Job Summary

Travel Physical Therapist in a long-term care setting providing evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation to patients, including manual techniques, therapeutic exercise, ambulation training, modalities, and wound care. Develop individualized plans of care following APTA guidelines, document interventions per regulatory requirements, participate in care conferences, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes. Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice; document care using electronic systems; discharge planning and required trainings. Responsibilities may include supervising PT assistants or students (preferred); must obtain DME/supplies as needed and maintain licensure in Oklahoma; BLS certification may be required; shift is 8-hour days with no weekend requirements; benefits include medical options, 401(k) matching, housing assistance, travel and license reimbursement, weekly pay, and recruiter support.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Oklahoma physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • At least 1 year of Physical Therapist experience. New graduates considered only if they have completed Level II clinical experience beyond Level I observation.
  • Experience in long term care or skilled nursing facility settings is required.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
