Job Summary
Provide outpatient orthopedic physical therapy in a travel assignment at Lexington, SC clinics. Deliver patient-centered care to individuals recovering from injuries or managing chronic conditions, targeting productivity of ~60 visits per week with an average of 12–14 patients per day. Schedule involves 36 hours guaranteed with potential to work up to 40 hours; participate in a Travel Team if available and be prepared to float to other clinics as needed. Requires a Physical Therapist degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral) and an active South Carolina PT license; BLS may be required. Shift is days, with double-booking of follow-up visits common.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active South Carolina physical therapy license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
- Experience seeing 12–14 patients per day and managing productivity expectations of approximately 60 visits per week preferred
- Ability to follow clinic productivity and overtime approval processes; OT must be approved by director before any OT is worked
- Will accept first-time travelers and new graduates
- PTA candidates are not accepted
