Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist positioned to provide home health services in Dothan, AL. Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, developing and implementing plans of care, documenting progress notes, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams. The role requires performing home visits across the Dothan coverage area, with occasional weekend admissions and mileage reimbursement per client guidance. Requires AL licensure, current CPR/BLS, and a valid driver’s license with dependable transportation. Shift is Days, 40 hours weekly, with up to 8:00–16:00 hours and travel between patient homes within the coverage area.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Alabama Physical Therapy license required prior to start of assignment
- Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and dependable vehicle or reliable access to public transportation
- Current CPR (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Experience providing home health physical therapy, including evaluating patients, developing plan of care, documenting progress notes, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to perform home visits across the Dothan, AL coverage area
- Occasional weekend admissions
- Preferred: mileage documentation between visits and knowledge of home health billing/practice guidelines
