Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist needed for a 13-week outpatient contract in Norman, OK. Evaluates assigned patients, develops and implements individualized treatment plans, and provides education to patients, families, and coworkers. Documents accurately in compliance with regulations and clinic policies; develops functional treatment programs to support return to community activities; collaborates with physicians and pursues ongoing professional development. Requires PT degree (Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral) and active Oklahoma PT license, BLS, and outpatient experience; candidates must have post-license clinical experience and be able to supervise therapy assistants and students. Shift pattern is 5x8 with start as soon as possible; facility type is outpatient.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Oklahoma Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Outpatient clinic experience preferred
- Experience completing comprehensive evaluations, writing measurable goals, and producing timely, accurate documentation including letters of medical necessity and charge entry using clinic-approved formats
- Minimum of 1 year of post-license clinical experience in outpatient or similar settings preferred
- Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and students as applicable
