Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist needed for Pediatric Outpatient in Juneau, Alaska. The clinician will perform evaluations and treatments across a wide range of ages and diagnoses, develop and implement therapy plans, and supervise support staff. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and participation in care conferences to optimize patient outcomes. Assignment is 40 hours per week with shifts Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–6:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM–1:00 PM (4x10 per Medefis). Requires PT degree (PT, DPT preferred), Alaska license, pediatric experience, influenza vaccination, and BLS. Prior experience supervising PTAs preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Alaska physical therapy license required at time of submission
- Pediatric physical therapy experience required
- Must have current influenza vaccination
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Ability to review clinical records, perform assessments, establish therapy diagnoses, and create goal-directed treatment plans
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supervising Physical Therapist Assistants or other designated staff
- Pediatric physical therapy experience
- Active Alaska physical therapy license
- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Current influenza vaccination
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
