Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist in St. Louis, MO to evaluate posture, gait, balance, coordination and strength; lead and guide delivery of physical therapy services in a long-term care environment; ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations; may float to nearby facilities; shift consists of 8-hour days; benefits include housing assistance, travel and license reimbursements; prepares individualized treatment plans to restore mobility and independence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Valid, unrestricted Missouri PT license or compact privilege to practice in Missouri at start of assignment
- Minimum 1 year of recent PT experience. Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing required.
- Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
