Job Summary
Travel Physical Therapist providing assessment, treatment, and discharge planning on an acute care and inpatient rehabilitation campus affiliated with a large health system. Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation staff to deliver safe mobilization, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning; documents care according to facility and regulatory standards; shift 08:00-16:30 with a daytime schedule; requires Florida PT license and BLS; experience in acute care, inpatient rehab, and handling cardiology/orthopedics/neurology/post-operative patients is preferred; comprehensive benefits include medical, 401(k) matching, housing/travel/licensing support, and recruiter assistance; location is Pensacola, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Florida state PT license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required
- Experience in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation preferred
- Ability to manage caseloads that include cardiology, orthopedics, neurology, and post-operative patients preferred
