Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Traveling Physical Therapist needed for outpatient orthopedic care. Provide therapy to patients recovering from injuries and managing chronic conditions in an outpatient clinic setting. Responsibilities include therapeutic exercise prescription, manual therapy, and use of common outpatient equipment; document in EMR; work with BLS-certified requirements and maintain Illinois PT licensure. Assignment options include direct hire, temp-to-hire, and travel contracts with benefits including housing and travel/license reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA
- Active Illinois state Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Outpatient clinic experience required
- Experience with therapeutic exercise prescription, manual therapy techniques, and use of common outpatient equipment such as therapeutic modalities, resistance equipment, and balance training tools
- Ability to document in electronic medical record systems. Experience with outpatient EMRs preferred
