Job Summary
Provide physical therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing facility, contributing to care planning and functional outcomes. Deliver evidence-based PT, manage caseloads in long-term care, perform mobility assessments and restorative programs, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document care plans, and support resident-centered rehabilitation initiatives. The role may include floating within the local facility network and requires eligibility for a Montana PT license and BLS certification. The assignment emphasizes patient care, documentation, and interdisciplinary communication within a travel contract framework.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Montana Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred.
- Ability to manage caseloads typical of a long-term care environment, including documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
