Job Summary
Physical Therapist traveling contractor role in Home Health in Urbandale, ID. You will perform patient home visits, assess needs, and provide durable medical equipment recommendations and training. Responsibilities include helping patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining flexibility to travel locally to patient homes. Requires a BS in Physical Therapy (or higher), Idaho PT license (or ability to obtain), CPR certification, 1–2 years of PT experience in acute care or rehab, valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, and English proficiency. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an APTA-approved program, or equivalent degree (Master’s or Doctoral degree acceptable)
- Current State License as a Physical Therapist in Idaho, or ability to obtain prior to start of assignment
- Proof of current CPR certification
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance
- 1–2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, prolonged standing and walking as required for home visits
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally to patient homes
- Must read, write, and speak fluent English
- Preferred: previous home health experience
