Job Summary
Conduct physical therapy services for patients recovering from injuries and managing chronic conditions at a skilled nursing facility in Hamtramck, MI. Deliver gait training, transfers, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise to support patient recovery. Maintain an active Michigan Physical Therapist license and complete BLS certification. Provide documentation of clinical experience with geriatric patients and familiarity with SNF equipment. Work a 13-week assignment with 35 guaranteed hours per week, Monday through Friday from 0830–1630.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Michigan Physical Therapist license
Desired Qualifications
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care
- Documentation of 1+ year of clinical experience with geriatric patients
- Experience with common SNF equipment and procedures (gait training, transfers, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise)
