Job Summary
Provide skilled, in-home physical therapy to adults and older adults recovering from injury or managing chronic conditions across St. Mary's, Calvert, and Charles counties. Conduct at least five patient visits daily, utilizing MatrixCare electronic medical record for charting within a 10–15 minute driving radius between home visits. Maintain a structured weekday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM while demonstrating clinical autonomy and rapid learning capabilities in community settings.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral) from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Maryland physical therapy license or ability to obtain state licensure prior to start
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC
- Comfort with a mobile caseload, clinical autonomy, and rapid learning in community/home settings
- Client is open to all candidates
- Candidates must demonstrate confidence and the ability to learn quickly
Desired Qualifications
- Home health clinical experience
- Experience using MatrixCare EMR
- Previous home health travel or per diem experience in Southern Maryland or similar rural/suburban regions
- Proven ability to manage 5+ patient visits per day (PT) or 6+ patient visits per day (PTA)
