Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Provide in-home skilled physical therapy services to patients in St. Petersburg, FL, helping them recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while working in a home health setting. Evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized plans of care, deliver therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and safety, and educate patients and caregivers on disease management and home exercise programs. Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation supporting medical necessity and homebound status, including OASIS completion. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, communicate changes in condition, and supervise PTA services when applicable. Active Florida PT license and home health experience required. Weekly hour guarantee of 40 hours with 100% paid housing available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA
- Active Florida PT license
- Home health experience
- OASIS knowledge
- Experience with HCHB electronic documentation
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Minimum education: Bachelor's degree
- Previous traveling physical therapy experience preferred
- Experience supervising PTA services preferred
- Candidates may be required to follow agency policies including dress code (any color scrubs per agency policy)
