Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Conduct outpatient physical therapy for patients recovering from injuries and managing chronic conditions in a hospital-affiliated clinic in Calhoun, GA. Perform 30-minute treatment intervals and 1-hour complex evaluations for approximately 10–15 patients daily, specializing in orthopedics, stroke, neurological disorders, and fractures. Complete facility orientation including New Employee Orientation and a 5-day departmental orientation. Work a 5x8 or 4x10 schedule with 40 standard hours per week, no weekends, no on-call, and no floating. Maintain an active Georgia physical therapy license, BLS certification, and EPIC EMR familiarity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Georgia physical therapy license
- BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
- Must be able to complete facility orientation including New Employee Orientation and a 5-day departmental orientation
- Accepts scheduled scrub/polo uniform policy and adherence to facility dress expectations
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant outpatient experience
- Experience working in an outpatient clinic scheduling 30-minute treatment intervals and conducting 1-hour complex evaluations
- Experience treating general orthopedics, debility, stroke/CVA, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, and fractures
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR
