Job Summary
Conduct physical therapy services for patients recovering from injuries and managing chronic conditions during home visits in Urbandale, ID. Provide durable medical equipment recommendations and training while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Perform heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, prolonged standing, and walking as required for patient care. Maintain current State License, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Work a flexible schedule involving local travel to patient homes. Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy required with 1–2 years of acute care or rehabilitation experience. Preferred home health experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association approved program, or equivalent degree (Master's or Doctoral degree acceptable)
- Current State License as a Physical Therapist in Idaho, or ability to obtain prior to start of assignment
- Proof of current CPR certification
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance
- 1–2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, prolonged standing and walking as required for home visits
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally to patient homes
- Must read, write, and speak fluent English
