Job Summary
Evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and document care while supervising discipline-specific therapy services at an outpatient clinic in Newton, KS. Follow state practice acts and facility policies to promote patient and employee safety. Complete clear, concise medical record documentation, including letters of medical necessity and charge entry. Participate in professional development and student training. Requires an active Kansas Physical Therapist license, BLS certification, and experience in outpatient physical therapy. Schedule includes 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts. This role supports delivery of high-quality outpatient physical therapy services with a focus on functional outcomes and quality improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA
- Active Kansas state Physical Therapist license
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy
- Ability to complete clear, concise, and timely medical record documentation
- Familiarity with safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace safety practices
- Willingness to participate in student supervision and contribute to clinical education

- Previous travel or per-diem outpatient clinic experience
