Job Summary
Conduct physical and occupational therapy treatments while setting clear clinical progress expectations for patients. Deliver Home Exercise Programs and maintain high standards of clinical excellence alongside 5-star customer service. Collaborate within a supportive team environment to ensure patients receive the care and support they need. Execute a high standard of clinical excellence while providing items or documents such as Home Exercise Programs. Join Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy, the nation's leading outpatient practice with over 40 clinics in the New York Tri-State Area.
Required Qualifications
- License to practice Physical Therapy in the State of New York
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Master or Bachelors of PT
- At least 1 year of experience
- Manual dexterity
- General strength and endurance
- Ability to routinely load 5-35 lbs from floor to waist
- Ability to routinely load 5-35 lbs from waist to shoulder
- Ability to routinely load 5-35 lbs from shoulder to overhead
- Ability to routinely carry 5-10 lbs for 40-50 feet
- Ability to routinely push 5-150 lbs on casters, runners or pulleys
- Ability to sustain a grip of 40-50 lbs for 1-2 minutes
- Ability to routinely guard a lift load of 120-140 lbs
