Job Summary
Review physician referrals, medical records, and patient conditions to determine required physical therapy treatment. Evaluate functional ability through standardized tests and develop customized treatment plans to restore movement and improve strength. Administer interventions including cold packs, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound while adjusting therapies to maximize patient benefit. Instruct patients on home procedures, document progress in electronic records, and promote rehabilitation programs to referring physicians. Reduce no-show rates and meet monthly productivity metrics within an outpatient rehab setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Master's Degree if obtained prior to 2016
- Physical Therapist - South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation
- Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association within 30 Days
- Ability to utilize therapy equipment in an outpatient rehabilitation setting to provide treatment and procedures
- Punctual and dependent for assigned/confirmed shifts
- Ability to respect cultural and religious practices of patients
- Medium-Heavy Physical Demand
Desired Qualifications
- Doctoral Degree if obtained after 2016
