Job Summary
Deliver high-quality physical therapy services with minimal supervision, including developing treatment plans, supervising assistants, and ensuring excellent patient care. Evaluate, treat, and document patient care accurately while maintaining clear documentation of patient progress and medical necessity. Follow state Practice Act and our client's policies, review Clinical Operations Policies & Procedures annually, and complete required Medicare and OSHA training. Communicate respectfully with all stakeholders, attend facility meetings, and participate in clinical in-services to meet productivity requirements. Maintain CPR certification and stay updated on healthcare developments. Contribute to specific center operations and handle special projects as assigned. Join a growing team with over 50 locations across 7 states, offering mentorship for new graduates or those completing licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from, or current enrollment in, a CAPTE-accredited physical therapist assistant or physical therapist program
- International graduates from non-CAPTE accredited programs must have a substantially equivalent education
- A current, valid state license, registration, or certification
- Candidates must be in the process of obtaining one
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform physical tasks like walking, bending, and reaching
- Sufficient visual acuity
- Auditory skills for patient care and documentation
- Fine motor skills for writing and handling equipment
- Effective team collaboration and leadership
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer skills for documentation and reporting
