Job Summary
The Physical Therapist role involves evaluating, treating, and guiding residents to enhance mobility, relieve pain, and promote functional independence within a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities include assessing residents' conditions, developing individualized therapy plans, supervising physical therapy assistants, educating residents on therapy expectations, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Ideal candidates will hold a valid New York State PT license and have a compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
