Job Summary
Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and administers therapeutic procedures in physical medicine and rehabilitation as prescribed by a referring physician. Develops individualized treatment plans, conducts comprehensive evaluations, administers therapy, documents evaluations and progress, educates patients and families on plans and exercises, and collaborates with referring physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care. Maintains safe operation of therapy equipment, adheres to safety and infection-control policies, and supports ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical and legal standards.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) required
- 0-2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting required
- PT - Physical Therapist license in the state of employment required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire required
