Job Summary
The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and administers therapeutic procedures in physical medicine and rehabilitation as prescribed by a referring physician. This role establishes individualized physical therapy goals, provides treatments, and regularly reassesses patient progress, documenting all findings accurately. Responsibilities include conducting thorough evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering safe therapy, adjusting plans as patient needs change, documenting evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information, educating patients and families on plans and post-treatment care, operating therapy equipment safely, maintaining a clean and safe environment, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care, tailoring care to patient demographics, ensuring compliance with facility policies, adapting to changes, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires Doctorate in Physical Therapy and 0-2 years of experience, licensure in state of employment, and Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) required
- 0-2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting required
- PT - Physical Therapist license in the state of employment required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire required
