Job Summary
Provide physical therapy services under physician orders and clinic director supervision, serving as a resource for PT Assistants and aides. Treat patients across all age ranges from pediatric to geriatric while adhering to regulations, QA procedures, and quality care standards. Maintain eligibility with the Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners and hold current Basic Life Support certification. Complete required department-specific training courses. Work part-time PRN days at OakBend Medical Center, an independent hospital offering a No Wait ER, trauma center, and stroke program since 1950.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Eligible for or licensed by Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners
- Basic Life Support certification
- Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care
- Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses
- Ability to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric
