Job Summary
Conduct initial physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans for patients recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic illness. Implement therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance retraining focused on real-world home safety while collaborating with RNs, OTs, and physicians to ensure comprehensive patient wellness. Train caregivers and patients on home exercise programs and the safe use of assistive devices, utilizing mobile EMR technology to document visits in real-time and ensure CMS compliance. Join the Waco branch to deliver high-impact, one-on-one care with professional autonomy, requiring an active Texas PT license, DPT degree, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Texas
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Active auto insurance
- BLS certification
- Ability to pass a background/drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of PT experience
- Home health experience
- DPT degree
