Job Summary
Part-Time/PRN Physical Therapist assisting physician in evaluating patients' functional status and physical therapy needs, developing the plan of care, providing services within the scope of practice, coordinating with the health care team, observing and reporting responses to treatment, preparing summaries to the physician every ~60 days, setting rehab goals, and guiding patients in therapeutic, creative and self-care activities to improve function. Requires current Louisiana PT license, at least one year of PT experience, CPR certification, and reliable transportation; home health experience is preferred. Required Qualifications
- Must be currently licensed by the Louisiana Physical Therapy Board
- Have at least one year of experience as PT
- CPR certification
- Excellent time management skills. Patient care oriented
- Reliable transportation to visit patients
- Home Health experience preferred
