Job Summary
The Physical Therapist performs initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions and establishes, revises, and evaluates a plan of care in collaboration with the patient and family. Responsibilities include performing therapy interventions using standard techniques, overseeing the activities of physical therapy assistants and students, and ensuring high-quality patient care. The position requires critical thinking, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask in a potentially stressful environment. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and possess excellent customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the New York Board of Physical Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
