Job Summary
Conduct initial exams, evaluate data for diagnosis, and design individually tailored physical treatment programs to restore physical functioning and alleviate pain. Administer manual exercises, massage, or traction while testing strength, motor development, and sensory perception. Document prognosis, treatment response, and progress in patient charts or electronic records. Instruct patients and families on home treatment procedures and confer with medical practitioners to plan interventions. Review physician referrals and medical records to determine required therapy. Requires current NJ Physical Therapist State License, accredited therapy program graduation, and high school diploma. Per diem schedule at $58/hour with 401k match, credit union, and referral bonuses.
