Job Summary
Conduct physical therapy services for adult outpatient orthopedics patients, focusing on injury recovery and long-term condition management. Collaborate within a multi-therapist clinic environment, providing flexible scheduling coverage that includes occasional double-booking and overlapping appointments. Act as the clinicians' eyes and ears within the large physician group while maintaining a welcoming approach to all patients. Maintain an active Florida state license and hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited APTA school.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school approved by the APTA for PT candidates
- PTA candidates must hold an accredited PTA degree
- Active Florida state license required to start the position for PTs or PTAs
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC
- Experience or willingness to work in adult outpatient orthopedics setting
- No pediatrics or neurology caseload
- Ability to collaborate within a multi-therapist clinic
- Ability to provide flexible scheduling coverage
- Ability to handle occasional double-booking
- Ability to handle overlapping appointments
