Job Summary
Provide medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, deconditioning, or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone diseases to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability. Evaluate program participants through appropriate procedures, develop written treatment programs, and administer programs while communicating needs to staff. Maintain documentation, ensure adherence to accreditation and licensure standards, and serve on rehabilitation treatment teams. Communicate with physicians, families, and community resources; plan in-service programs and participate in orientation for new staff and students. Write service summaries and maintain daily billing summaries. Requires state licensure, a Bachelor's degree, and one year's experience preferred. Salary ranges from $83,200 to $110,240 with a $7,000 bonus and $5,000 relocation assistance. Monday-Friday schedule with some flex start/stop times and bi-weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- State licensure in physical therapy
- Travel as needed
- Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
