Job Summary
Provides medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients with injuries, deconditioning, or musculoskeletal conditions to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability. Evaluates program participants and develops written treatment programs, administers therapy, communicates needs to staff, and maintains documentation. Participates in team-based care with physicians and other professionals; plans in-service programs for staff; participates in orientation for staff and students; writes service summaries and maintains daily billing summaries. Travel as needed; heavy work with lifting requirements; complies with accreditation, licensure, ethics, and confidentiality standards. Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy and state licensure; one year of experience preferred. Relocation assistance available. Job located in Ypsilanti, MI; in-person work schedule with some flex start/stop times.
