Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients referred by physicians using physical modalities, exercise, and supervision of assistants and rehab techs. Perform accurate evaluations within 48 hours of referral, design plans of care with measurable goals, and re-evaluate patients to adapt treatment as needed. Provide consistent documentation of services, progress, and equipment for clinical and billing accuracy. Communicate with physicians, patient families, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge plans and clarify diagnoses. Supervise support staff and suggest departmental improvements while maintaining patient dignity and professional rapport. Full-time, part-time, or PRN availability.
Required Qualifications
- Physical therapists must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy curriculum.
- Physical therapists must be licensed in the state practicing by the Board of Physical Therapy.
- Provide an acceptable Criminal Background Check.
