Job Summary
Conduct physical therapy services for students at Jay School Corp, covering the school district two to three days per week for six to seven-hour shifts. Deliver rehabilitation interventions while adhering to state licensure, American Physical Therapy Certification Board registration, and accreditation compliance standards. Apply principles, methods, and equipment specific to the therapy discipline, with preference for experience in rehabilitation and IEPs. Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support student outcomes within the employee-owned Theracare team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Physical Therapy
- Current state license/certification
- Current registration with the American Physical Therapy Certification Board
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
- Perfer experience with IEPs
