Job Summary
Provide evidence-based outpatient physical therapy for orthopedic injuries and sports medicine patients. Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans; deliver hands-on therapy and prescribe therapeutic exercises to restore function, strength, and mobility. Educate patients on injury and fall risk prevention, recovery strategies, and performance optimization. Collaborate with referring physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations; stay current with best practices in sports medicine and rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program
- Active Physical Therapy license in Virginia
- Experience: Preferred 1+ years in outpatient orthopedics or sports medicine
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
