Job Summary
The Physical Therapist delivers acute care physical therapy services to restore function, improve mobility, and support safe patient discharge. Responsibilities include performing PT evaluations, developing plans of care, delivering mobility, gait, and functional training interventions, supporting early mobility and patient progression during hospitalization, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, educating patients and families on treatment and safety, and maintaining accurate, compliant clinical documentation. New graduates are encouraged to apply with structured onboarding and mentorship to support a successful transition into acute care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy
- Current state Physical Therapy license
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
