Job Summary
Physical Therapist Resident in outpatient rehabilitation, affiliated with Presbyterian Healthcare Services, focusing on mentorship and development through the UNM Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program. The role supports new graduates or early-career clinicians in delivering outpatient PT care, advancing skills in evidence-based practice, differential diagnosis, and advanced manual therapy under experienced faculty guidance. Peri-residency activities include didactic lectures, psychomotor labs, independent study, research, and teaching portions to entry-level PT students on the North UNM campus; planned mentorship for 4 hours/week; involvement across inpatient/outpatient settings with a comprehensive rehab program and coordination with interdisciplinary teams. Part-time, 0.80 FTE, Weekday schedule (Monday-Friday). Required Qualifications
- New Mexico Physical Therapist license
- Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy
- Must be enrolled in the UNM Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program
- BLS required
- Less than one year of experience in physical therapy
