Job Summary
The physical therapy resident is a post-graduate participant in a physical therapy residency program providing independent patient care in a specialty area with 1:1 mentorship from a licensed Physical Therapist. The role includes didactic education, research training, teaching, dissemination, specialty experiences and multidisciplinary collaboration to satisfy ABPTRFE residency requirements. This full-time 40-hour/week position at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis requires a Bachelor’s degree, 0-3 years’ relevant experience, graduation from an accredited physical therapy program, Indiana license, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
- Current Physical Therapist license in Indiana
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA
