Job Summary
Provide physical therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients in accordance with Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Screen and evaluate patients, develop initial and ongoing treatment plans, and create discharge plans. Supervise assistants and Rehab Techs, manage case responsibilities, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Optimize patient functionality by directing therapy, consulting with PTA, and supervising skilled tasks during group and individual treatment. Build a strong physical therapy program and enhance clinical expertise through continuing education and professional development. Adhere to infection control procedures and environmental safety protocols within the facility. Maintain a valid state license and demonstrate proficiency in clinical documentation and billing guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate of an APTA accredited school of physical therapy
- Valid physical therapist state license
- Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation
- Basic Internet navigation skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend in English: instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports
