Job Summary
Provide physical therapy and related services to patients while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients in accordance with Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop initial and ongoing treatment plans, including discharge planning. Supervise assistants and Rehab Techs during group and individual treatments, ensuring compliance with State Practice Acts, OBRA, and Reliant policy. Build and enhance clinical programs through continuing education and professional development. Adhere to all state and federal regulations, infection control protocols, and billing guidelines. Maintain a valid state license and proficiency in clinical documentation and English.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate of an APTA accredited school of physical therapy
- Valid physical therapist state license
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend in English
- Maintain a valid state license
- Maintain awareness of issues related to the profession of physical therapy and the health care environment
- Understands various relevant payment models related to billing and treatment guidelines
- Understands clinically appropriate means/modes of delivery
- Be compliant with infection control procedures and environmental safety protocol within a facility
- Adheres to all state and federal regulations regarding physical therapy
- Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation
- Basic Internet navigation skills
