Job Summary
Provide physical therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients in accordance with Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Screen and evaluate patients, develop initial and ongoing treatment plans, create discharge plans, and manage case responsibilities. Supervise assistants and Rehab Techs during group and individual treatments, ensuring compliance with state regulations, Omnibus Reconciliation Act (OBRA), and Reliant policies. Build a strong physical therapy program and enhance clinical expertise through continuing education activities. Adhere to infection control procedures and environmental safety protocols while delivering quality care within established billing and treatment guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate of an APTA accredited school of physical therapy
- Valid physical therapist state license
- Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation
- Basic Internet navigation skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend in English: instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports
