Job Summary
Evaluate referred patients' needs, formulate treatment plans, and provide therapy services defined in those plans. Cooperate with medical staff, case managers, social workers, and adjusters while performing a variety of tasks that require creativity and latitude. May supervise physical therapy assistants and aides, relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Maintain regular, predictable attendance and meet the age-specific needs of the assigned unit. Kootenai Health serves patients throughout northern Idaho and the Inland Northwest, offering a team approach where patients receive comprehensive care from a multidisciplinary group of therapists.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nationally accredited school of physical therapy
- Current Idaho Physical Therapy License
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned
