Job Summary
Evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy services while maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating with all disciplines. Support therapists by providing training and guidance, then deliver therapeutic procedures including manual exercises, soft tissue mobilization, and instruction on ambulatory and daily-living activities. Develop documented treatment goals and prepare written programs based on patient evaluations. Instruct patients and families on home treatment procedures, fit and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, and coordinate care with physicians and other staff. Record treatment progress in patient charts or automated systems and suggest program revisions as required.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy institution
- Baccalaureate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from a physical therapy program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- Current, unrestricted license to practice as a physical therapist in the state in which you are employed
