Job Summary

Physical Therapist (PT) on WCEL's Early Support Services team responsible for developing and implementing family-centered evaluations, assessments, and therapy routines for children enrolled in WCEL ES program. Develop IFSPs in partnership with parents and coordinators, provide and coordinate specialized instructor services in natural environments, involve parents in all aspects of services, collaborate with outside providers, participate in team and professional development activities, maintain ESIT data and records, and host interns/job shadowing as applicable. Requires advanced degree in Physical Therapy, Washington PT license, valid WA driver’s license, Infant/Toddler CPR, and experience with infants/toddlers with special health care needs. Preference given to providers with knowledge in pre-feeding activities, feeding transitions, and related supports.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university program.
  • State of Washington Physical Therapy license (DOH).
  • State of Washington driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle.
  • Successful completion and maintenance of Infant/Toddler CPR class (can be completed post-hire).
  • Experience with infants and toddlers with special health care needs, and their families.
