Job Summary
The Physical Therapist coordinates and supervises physical therapy services and provides treatments as prescribed by physicians. Key responsibilities include instructing therapy staff, evaluating patient progress, and establishing both short-term and long-term goals for rehabilitation. The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited BS or MS level physical therapy program, hold a valid state license, and preferably have supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a BS or MS level course in physical therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Licensed or registered under the statutes of the state in which the physical therapist will be practicing
Desired Qualifications
- One year’s experience in a supervisory role preferred
- Active member of the state and national Physical Therapy Association preferred
