Job Summary
Physical Therapist provides direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Responsibilities include following established PT treatment plans, establishing and modifying goals, supervising PTAs and rehab staff, accurate charting and use of therapy software, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and maintaining professional conduct and compliance with Life Care policies. Essential functions also encompass maintaining attendance and safety, communicating effectively with patients and families, and supporting community health initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy, BSPT, MSPT, or DPT
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
- One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
