Job Summary
Provide per diem Physical Therapist services for BAYADA Home Health Care with home visits across Wake and Durham counties, Chapel Hill, and Clayton area in NC. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests and measurements (mobility, gait, balance, strength, endurance, safety assessments), implementing wound prevention and repair interventions, developing and updating individualized care plans with manual therapy, gait training, balance and other activities, collaborating with nursing as part of a multidisciplinary team, educating clients and families on rehabilitative care, and documenting observations and evaluations in an EMR-enabled system using a touch pad tablet. Requires current NC PT license, at least one year of PT experience, and graduation from an ABPT/CAAHEA-accredited program; ability to work independently; strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills; and EMR experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- A current North Carolina Physical Therapist - PT license
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist - PT
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
