Job Summary
Physical Therapist (PT) needed to conduct evaluations and assessments for students’ motor function, develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans, provide direct PT services to improve gross motor skills, collaborate with teachers and school teams, recommend adaptive equipment and classroom modifications, maintain ISBE/IDEA-compliant documentation, participate in IEP meetings, and train staff on movement strategies and accessibility accommodations. Eligible candidates hold a DPT or Master’s in Physical Therapy, current IL PT license, ISBE Related Service Provider approval, and fingerprint clearance; contract structure supports up to 40 hours/week with benefits including paid time off, holidays, 401(k) match, professional development reimbursement, and travel/clinical reimbursements where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate (DPT) or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Illinois PT Licensure (IDFPR)
- Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Approval as a Related Service Provider
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check
