Job Summary
Essential Functions: Screens, evaluates, and treats patients; completes comprehensive evaluations using appropriate tools; reviews patient records for diagnoses and history; establishes measurable goals and develops a treatment plan to move the patient toward maximum independence and/or function; supervises physical therapist assistants and rehab technicians in direct patient care; interprets and communicates evaluation findings and treatment program to patients, family, and other team members.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy
- Current licensure as a physical therapist in the state of current practice
- Good communication skills; ability to relate professionally to patients, family members, and staff
- Ability to perform responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
