Job Summary
Evaluate a patient's condition, develop a treatment plan, and instruct nursing staff and families on follow-through programs to help them recover from debilitating injuries or illnesses. Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and team members, assist with patient scheduling, and post daily charges to patient records. Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements while maintaining equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition. Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws. Work part-time days (16–20 hours weekly, Sunday–Thursday) at Mosaic Life Care St Joseph Medical Center in a fast-paced inpatient rehabilitation environment.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered
- Current CPR certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
