Job Summary
Develop an amazing team of compassionate healthcare providers by delivering direct patient care, evaluating functional needs, and adjusting care plans to ensure optimal outcomes. Design and implement individualized plans of care based on thorough assessments, while conducting therapy practice within defined standards and directing support staff to achieve functional goals. Document evaluations, treatment goals, and plans regularly, and act as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community. This physically demanding role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, irregular hours including call rotations, and 50% travel within the coverage area. You must hold a current, unrestricted PT license from an APTA-approved program with at least one year of healthcare facility experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program
- Current, unrestricted PT license valid for the state of work
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a healthcare facility
- Must be able and willing to travel 50%
- Must have a dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance in accordance with state laws
- Must be able to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
